This Service is operated under the brand Video Text Remover.

Identity and tax details required for payment onboarding are provided privately to our Merchant of Record (Waffo Pancake) and are not published on this site.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: name (if provided), email address, password (stored hashed), and profile details you choose to add.
  • Payment information: transaction amount and status. We do not store full card numbers — card data is processed by Waffo Pancake.
  • Communications: emails, tickets, and feedback you send to support.
  • Content you upload: videos and related processing parameters needed to run text-removal jobs.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and network: IP address, device type, OS, browser, timezone.
  • Usage: pages visited, features used, session duration, credit consumption events.
  • Logs: request timing, error logs, performance data.

2.3 Optional third-party sign-in

If you sign in with Google or GitHub (when enabled), we receive basic profile information those providers authorize (typically email and display name).

We may aggregate or de-identify data for statistics. Aggregated data cannot reasonably identify you.

Analytics, when enabled in our admin settings, may include Google Analytics and/or Plausible. You can adjust browser settings or refuse non-essential cookies where a consent mechanism is offered.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only when needed:

  • Service providers bound by confidentiality — hosting, storage (for example object storage used for temporary video processing), email, analytics, and payments. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Waffo Pancake.
  • AI processing: uploaded videos are sent to Alibaba Cloud IMS VideoDetext (and related cloud storage used for that pipeline) solely to perform the removal job you request.
  • Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or competent authority.
  • Business transfers: if the Service is transferred, with continued protection obligations.
  • With your consent: for any other purpose you explicitly approve.

6. Security

  • Transport encryption (TLS / HTTPS).
  • Passwords hashed; sensitive secrets protected with access controls.
  • Least-privilege access for operational systems.
  • Temporary media URLs expire (upload and result links are time-limited).

No method of transmission is 100% secure. If a security incident affecting your rights occurs, we aim to notify you and relevant authorities within 72 hours where legally required.

7. Retention

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Contact support@videotextremover.org. We aim to respond within 30 calendar days.

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Marketing

If we send optional marketing messages, we will do so only with your consent where required. You can unsubscribe via the email link or by contacting support. Unsubscribing does not affect essential service messages (billing, security, policy updates).

10. International transfers

Servers and processors (including Waffo Pancake and Alibaba Cloud) may be located in different countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections offered by our providers.

11. Children

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party sites or integrate third-party services. This Policy applies only to information we collect directly. Review those parties' policies before use.

13. Changes

For material changes, we will update the date above and, where reasonably possible, give at least 15 days notice by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
