1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Video Text Remover ("Video Text Remover", "we", "us", or "our"), an individually operated online service available at https://videotextremover.org (the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing credits, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years of age; (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

2.1 What we provide

Video Text Remover is an AI-powered SaaS tool that helps users remove text, captions, and similar overlays from videos (including auto full-frame detection and selected-area removal).

2.2 Digital delivery

The Service is a digital intangible product. Access is granted promptly after payment confirmation. Because of this instant delivery, refunds are limited as described in Section 7 and our Refund Policy.

2.3 Third-party AI models

The Service uses third-party AI processing, including Alibaba Cloud IMS VideoDetext. Performance and availability may be affected by those providers. Material outages will be communicated when reasonably possible.

3. Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3.2 Security

• Contact support@videotextremover.org immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Do not share login credentials.
• Keep your billing email current.

4. Credits and packs

The Service uses a credit system. You may purchase one-time credit packs (for example Lite, Creator, and Pro). Credits are consumed when you process videos; cost depends on video duration and quality tier (Standard or Advanced). Current packs and pricing are at https://videotextremover.org/pricing.

Free trial credits may be granted on signup and are subject to shorter validity and the refund limits in Section 7.

We may change pack features or introduce new packs. Price changes apply to future purchases only.

5. Billing and payment

5.1 One-time purchase authorization

Each credit-pack purchase is a one-time transaction. Completing checkout authorizes us to charge your payment method for the amount shown at checkout.

Card payments are processed by our PCI-DSS compliant Merchant of Record and payment processor, Waffo Pancake. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

5.2 No automatic top-up

The Service does not currently offer automatic credit top-up or subscriptions. There is no recurring charge after a one-time pack purchase.

5.3 Taxes

Unless stated otherwise, listed prices exclude applicable taxes. Where required by law, taxes may be collected at checkout by Waffo Pancake.

6. Credit validity and account termination

6.1 Validity

• Paid credits: valid for 365 days from the purchase date, unless a pack states otherwise at checkout.
• Free trial credits: typically valid for 30 days from grant.
• We may send reminders before paid credits expire when feasible.

6.2 Failed jobs

If a processing job fails due to our systems or the AI provider (and credits were reserved or consumed for that job), we restore those credits when the failure is confirmed. Failed jobs are not intended to permanently consume credits.

6.3 Account termination

If an account is terminated, unused paid credits remain available for 30 days after termination (or until their original expiry, whichever is sooner), unless law requires otherwise. After that period, unused credits expire without refund except where Section 7 or applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Refund policy

Consumed credits are generally non-refundable, except:

• Unused paid credits within 7 days of purchase: full refund if none of the credits from that purchase have been used.
• Duplicate charges caused by billing error: full refund.
• Statutory rights (for example EU/UK/Australia cooling-off rules for first-time eligible purchases): preserved where applicable; typically no longer available after first use of the digital service.
• Free trial credits are not refundable.

Refund requests: email support@videotextremover.org with your account email and order/transaction ID. We aim to confirm within 2 business days and complete eligible refunds within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.

8. Billing disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support@videotextremover.org before filing a dispute with your bank. We aim to reply within 2 business days and resolve confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

9. AI content and intellectual property

9.1 Outputs

Subject to these Terms, processed videos and other outputs you generate with the Service ("Outputs") belong to you. You may use them for any lawful purpose consistent with Section 10.

9.2 Inputs

By submitting videos or other content ("Inputs"), you grant Video Text Remover a limited, non-exclusive license solely to provide the Service (upload, process, store temporarily, and deliver results). We do not use your Inputs to train AI models without your explicit consent.

9.3 Third-party models

Outputs may be influenced by third-party AI providers such as Alibaba Cloud. We do not guarantee a specific quality level and are not liable for third-party model behavior beyond restoring credits for confirmed failed jobs as described above.

9.4 Accuracy

AI results may contain artifacts or incomplete removals. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before relying on them.

9.5 Our IP

The Service software, branding, and site content remain our property and are protected by applicable IP laws.

10. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes.

You agree not to:

• Generate illegal, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent content.
• Create or assist deepfakes or other synthetic media intended to impersonate real people or mislead viewers about authenticity.
• Generate content involving sexual exploitation of minors or that violates child-protection laws.
• Create malware, phishing material, or attack tools.
• Infringe others' intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Bypass or interfere with security or usage limits.
• Resell or sublicense access without prior written approval.
• Violate applicable law, regulations, or card-network rules.

AI-specific restrictions — you also agree not to:

• Use Inputs, Outputs, or derived data to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or otherwise develop competing AI/ML systems.
• Mass-scrape or harvest model outputs beyond your personal authorized use.
• Present AI outputs as the work of licensed professionals (for example doctors, lawyers, or financial advisers) in contexts where that could cause harm.

11. Data, privacy, and security

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Waffo Pancake. Account data is retained for 90 days after account deletion, then deleted or anonymized as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

12.1 Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or AI output accuracy.

12.2 AI disclaimer

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Do not rely on them as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

12.3 Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Video Text Remover is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Term and termination

These Terms apply while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, suspected fraud, or legal requirements. If we terminate for reasons other than your breach, we will refund unused prepaid paid credits on a pro-rata or unused basis where reasonably practicable. You may request account deletion by contacting support@videotextremover.org or using account settings where available.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days before they take effect, by email and/or notice in the Service, when reasonably possible. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
